This session, we will be discussing the EU, Ecofeminism, Agriculture and Chemicals.

The current agricultural system is deeply unfair, harming people in the Global South and not giving fair prices to farmers. The widespread use of pesticides damages biodiversity, while the bioindustry adds to greenhouse gas emissions, worsening the climate crisis. We urgently need stricter regulations and oversight because companies will continue to use these chemicals if they’re allowed.
